Inspired by rugged tree bark, this bag progressed from photo to fabric to stitching to a touch of hand embroidery.
I chose a green/gray canvas fabric, stitched it to a layer of stabilizer and muslin with stitching lines resembling wood grain.
Main outer pieces of bag ready for final ‘sew up’. So near and yet so far!
I must whine a little and tell you it was a long journey between my first glance at that tree and the final photo of the completed bag.
