Fabric scraps that were used to absorb or wipe paint at my mixed media work table
Some of my favorite materials are the ones I didn’t plan. These scraps of quality cotton fabric were used as utility rags while playing with paints.
Many colors together can become a cohesive piece.
Free stitching adding design lines on pieced fabrics. (Puzzled by the painted design on table surface? It’s part of my old business sign – nostalgic!)
I stitch lines while spontaneously choosing imagined forms in the splotches of color. (I love that center leaf shape!)
